Hi, I'm Vanessa — a therapist, a mom, and someone who arrived in survival mode despite knowing exactly what to do about it.

I'm a high-achieving, go-getter, "I can handle anything" kind of woman. Sound familiar?

It wasn't until I had my son and moved from Boston to Houston — new city, new business, toddler in tow that everything caught up with me. I was exhausted, losing my patience most days, and completely disconnected from myself. I loved my child and I loved being a mom. But I did not love motherhood. And that gap broke my heart.

I had been a therapist for 15 years. I knew the tools. I used them. And they still didn't work — until I figured out why. What I discovered changed everything, not just for me, but for the clients I was already working with who were struggling the same way. The answer wasn't more tools. It was the sequence. Restore the body first. Then regulate. Then reclaim. In that order. Because you cannot do the deeper work on a depleted body.
